Kinder Dance, Pre-primary and Primary

Girls: Short sleeved, scoop neck leotard. Mondor style # 1635 in pale pink. Pink ballet tights. Pink full sole leather ballet slippers with pink elastic. Shoes must be Bloch or Angelo Luzio make.

Boys: Short sleeved leotard, Mondor style # 1635 in white or well-fitting sleeveless T-shirt tucked in navy shorts. White ballet slippers in canvas or leather with white elastic. White ankle sox, cotton or blend.

Grades 1 to 5

Girls: Sleeveless tank top leotard, Mondor style # 1645 in navy blue with navy belt attached. Pink ballet tights. Pink, full sole soft leather ballet slippers with pink elastic. In cold weather, a ballet sweater may be worn during warm-up and barre.

Boys: Short-sleeved leotard, Mondor style # 1635 in white of a well-fitting sleeveless T-shirt tucked in navy shorts worn with a brown leather belt (approximately 1" in width). Instead of shorts, navy leggings or stirrup tights. White knee-high sox, white ballet slippers, canvas or leather with white elastic.

Grades 6, 7 & 8 Award

Girls: Classic style leotard, Mondor styles # 1645 or # 1619 or # 1665 in black with belt attached. Pink Ballet tights (for students taking pointe classes, convertible pink tights). Full sole or split sole (if permitted by teacher) soft leather ballet slippers with pink elastic or pink satin ribbons.

Boys: White short-sleeved or sleeveless leotard or a well-fitting T-shirt tucked in black or navy stirrup tights. Knee length white sox. White leather or canvas ballet slippers with white elastic.

Note: Pointe shoes for girls will only be worn on the advice of the teacher.

Vocational grades: Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate Advanced Foundation, Advanced 1 and Advanced 2

Girls: Classic leotard Mondor styles #1665 or #1619 with belt attached. Pink convertible tights. Pink soft point shoes and firm pointe shoes for pointe work with pink satin ribbons.

Note: Split sole shoes may be worn at only the Intermediate Foundation level for exams.

Boys: Black or navy tights. White sox worn over tights. Black or white shoes with elastic. White leotard or short-sleeved white T-shirt worn inside the tights. Sweat band if hair is long.

Note: All girls with long hair are required to wear hair in a ballet bun. Hair must be secured OFF the face.

Girls: Black tank style leotard, Mondor style # 1645, black footless tights. Half soles or foot thongs or bare feet (Teacher will advise at time of registration).

Boys: Black shorts, white tank top or fitted T-shirt. Bare feet.

Long hair is to be secured in a bun or braid; shorter hair may be worn securely off the face.

Girls: Black tank style leotard, Mondor style # 1645, black footed tights. Black tap shoes with taps.

Boys: Black or White fitted T-shirt, black shorts or jazz pants. White or black sox and lace-up tap shoes with taps.

Long hair is to be secured in a bun or braid; shorter hair may be worn securely off the face.

Girls: Black tank leotard, Mondor style # 1645, black footed tights. Black jazz shoes, black jazz pants or shorts may also be worn.

Boys: White tank top or fitted T-shirt tucked into black shorts or jazz pants. Black or white sox and black jazz shoes.

Long hair is to be secured in a bun or braid; shorter hair must be worn securely off the face

Tiny Tumblers: Pink short-sleeved leotard, bare legs and bare feet.

Girls: Black tank leotard, Mondor style # 1645, bare legs and bare feet.

Boys: Leotard or T-shirt tucked into shorts, bare legs and bare feet.

Long hair secured in a pony tail or braid; shorter hair must be worn securely off the face.

Note: Adult ladies may wear long-sleeved leotard of the Mondor styles and a short wraparound chiffon skirt for all classes if they wish.

Very important: DO NOT purchase dance wear until you have spoken with the teacher. Please do not purchase dance wear from "big box" stores.

All students are required to use the washroom before class

1. Arrive ten minutes before class to begin warming up
2. Use the washroom before class begins
3. If a student is unable to attend, please telephone the studio or inform the teacher in advance.
4. Jewellery may not be worn in class
5. Do not leave valuables in the change room
6. Students waiting to be picked up after class must wait in the waiting room, not outside
7. Chewing gum, water bottles or outdoor shoes are not permitted in the classroom
8. Only approved dance wear may be worn in class, no baggy sweat shirts or pants.
9. Parents, students and friends are required to wait quietly in the waiting room so as not to disturb ongoing classes
